20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the film Exodus: Gods and Kings , an adaptation based on the biblical epic of Moses. The film stars Christian Bale, Joel Edgerton, Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley, Aaron Paul, Indira Varma, and John Turturro.
Directed by Ridley Scott (Prometheus), Exodus: Gods and Kings is “an epic adventure that will tell the story of one man's courage and daring in seizing power over an Empire.”
Sigourney Weaver ('Avatar') and John Turturro ('Transformers') will play Tuya and Seti, the parents of Pharaoh Ramses II, who will be portrayed by Joel Edgerton ('The Great Gatsby'). Ben Kingsley ('Iron Man 3') will play a Hebrew scholar, and Aaron Paul ('Breaking Bad') will portray a Hebrew slave close to Moses.
Exodus: Gods and Kings premieres on December 12th in the US.
