Food Wars! ( Shokugeki No Souma ), the second season of the anime about food, has released its first trailer. The news about the second season was announced in early December, and the video introduces new characters.
The first season had 24 episodes and premiered in May, concluding in September of that year; Crunchyroll is currently streaming the first season.
The story revolves around Yukihira Souma, who dreams of becoming a chef at his father's restaurant and surpassing his father's culinary skills. But as soon as Yukihira graduates from elementary school, his father, Jouichirou, closes the restaurant to go cook in Europe. Despite being down, Souma's fighting spirit reignites when his father challenges him to survive in an elite culinary school where only 10% of students graduate.
