Attention fans!! The highly anticipated 2nd season of the anime Sousou no Frieren has just been announced in Japan. A teaser and image accompanied the announcement.

On social media, the announcement states that: The 2nd season of the Frieren anime will continue from Volume 7 of the manga onwards. However, on the website we can read: “It’s time to continue our journey.”
Therefore, the anime of Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) premiered in the September 2023 season with 28 episodes.
Synopsis of Sousou no Frieren:
Immediately following the defeat of the demon king, the group of victorious heroes returns home, ready to part ways. Frieren, the mage, Himmel, the hero, Heiter, the priest, and Eisen, the warrior, reminisce about their decade-long journey as the time comes to say goodbye.
Finally, the entire work is based on the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020.
