Fruits Basket gets a new spin-off anime!

The new anime Fruits Basket series . According to the official Twitter account , the new work will be called Kyoko to Katsuya no Monogatari ( The Story of Kyoko and Katsuya ) and is expected to arrive in mid-2022.

Thus, the anime came to an end this month, and the studio TMS Entertainment ( Dr. Stone,  Megalobox ), which produces the animation, released a special video above.

Synopsis:

The story follows Tohru Honda, a 16-year-old student who, after a family tragedy, secretly moves to an unsuitable location. She ends up living in a tent on the grounds of the mysterious Soma clan and is taken in by the family. There, she discovers a big secret of the owners: when embraced by people of the opposite sex, they transform into animals of the Chinese zodiac.

Finally, Fruits Basket was published in Japan from 1998 to 2006, totaling 23 volumes . In Brazil, the manga is published by JBC .
