The manga Futo Tantei (FUUTO PI) recently concluded its current arc in Shogakukan. The series, written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Masaki Sato, will take a break before beginning a new arc in May.

The series has been serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits since 2017. This is not the first recent hiatus, as the work also paused in August 2025 and returned months later with a new narrative arc.

Futo Tantei is an action and mystery manga that serves as a direct sequel to Kamen Rider W. The story follows Shotaro Hidari and Philip, two detectives who protect the city of Futo from supernatural threats and unusual crimes.

In addition to the manga, the franchise received an anime adaptation titled FUUTO PI, released in 2022. The series was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Kamen Rider and is available via Crunchyroll.

Finally, the universe also received the film Futo Tantei: Kamen Rider Skull no Shozo, shown in Japanese cinemas in 2024. The work also inspired a theatrical adaptation presented between 2022 and 2023.
