The manga adaptation of Ganglion into an anime got a new trailer this Tuesday (16), revealing its release date.
The Ganglion will premiere on October 3, 2025, animated by Studio Maf. It is directed by Ayumu Watanabe, with a story by Hisaya Shiraiwa and character designs by Shigeru Fujita.
Synopsis
The early 2000s in Tokyo. Isobe, a fighter for the Ganglion Corporationwho dreams of world domination, sees his work as a true battlefield. Wearing only a tight-fitting suit, he participates in absurd missions like "Operation Tokyo Cedar Pollen" and the "Mount Fuji Explosion Plan," but always ends up easily defeated by the hero Hopeman.
In the early days of "compliance," he must endure the insane orders of his superiors and fight to survive. This is a "workplace drama" dedicated to all workers: the sad, yet relatable, story of a wage earner who, ironically, acts as an enemy soldier.
The original manga was serialized by Yoshimoto Books in the magazine Comic Yoshimoto in 2007 and later collected into a single volume by Wani Books in April 2009. Even with only one volume, the work garnered enough attention to now receive an anime adaptation, betting on a mix of humor and action.
