HoYoverse has revealed the first character for the highly anticipated Genshin Impact Version 6.0, and fans are already excited: meet Lauma, the Silver Moon Priestess and wielder of the Dendro element. This 5-star character uses a Catalyst as a weapon and will be officially available on September 10, 2025.
In the cinematic teaser titled “Crown of Sacred Silver,” Lauma appears as an enigmatic and ethereal figure. His appearance evokes a fusion between human and deer, with delicate features and graceful movements that recall the mystical presence of the moon over the forests of Nod-Krai — the new region introduced in this update.
New Elemental Reaction: Lunar-Bloom
Lauma introduces a new mechanic to the game called Lunar-Bloom, an evolved variation of the traditional Bloom reaction. With it, Lauma generates a special resource called Verdant Dew, which can be used to amplify the damage of Dendro-based reactions, especially in teams that use Bloom or Hyperbloom as the core of their damage.
Furthermore, Lauma can assume a hybrid form between human and deer, which grants her greater agility for running and jumping on the battlefield. Outside of combat, she also reveals map features, aiding in the collection of materials unique to the Nod-Krai region.
Story Bonus and New Characters
During the main mission of the new version, players will also receive a free copy of Aino, a 4-star Hydro character who uses a Claymore. And for those who don't connect with Lauma, another new addition is Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins, with similar exploration abilities.
