The official website responsible for the anime said that the franchise will have a new DVD and an adaptation in Live – action format . The DVD is titled Given: Uragawa no Sonzai , and will focus on the characters Mafuyu and Ritsuka during the events that took place in the film. The disc will be released together with the limited edition of the seventh volume of the manga , which launches on December 1st.
The live-action series will then feature six episodes, and will premiere on Fuji TV's “FOD” streaming service on July 17th. The adaptation will star Jin Suzuki playing the character Ritsuka Uenoyama , singer Sanari as Mafuyu Satou , Kai Inowaki as Akihiko Kaji and Shuntarou Yanagi as Haruki Nakayama .
Given's anime premiered on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block in July 2019.
