During PlayStation Experience, Sony did not officially unveil a new God of War for PS4; however, Santa Monica Studios confirmed via social media that the company is indeed working on a new God of War game.
The company revealed via Twitter, through producer Cory Barlog, director of the second game in the franchise, that they are already in the process of creating a new chapter for the saga. The statement was categorical: "Yes, we are making another God of War.".
God of War is an action video game for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PSP consoles, developed by Sony Computer Entertainment's Santa Monica division. Therefore, it is exclusive to Sony Computer Entertainment consoles. Released in March 2005, it was the first installment in the God of War series, which is based on Greek mythology.
The game's protagonist is a warrior named Kratos, a (demigod) consumed by hatred and fury. The story is part of a saga, with revenge as its central theme.
