NTV announced Kousuke Oono Gokushufudou ( The Way of the House Husband ) manga live-action adaptation in October this year.
The series will star Hiroshi Tamaki ( Nodame Cantabile, Ooku: The Inner Chambers ) as the protagonist Tatsu, with Toichiro Ruto ( Ossan Love ) as director and Uda Manabu ( 99.9 -Keiji Senmon Bengoshi- ) is one of the writers.
Synopsis
Tatsu the “immortal” is a former yakuza who abandoned his life in violence to become a housewife and support his salaryman wife Miku, but he still manages to get into trouble, however instead of being fights in dark alleys, These are discussions about discounts on the market.
Previously, the manga had already received a brief live-action adaptation in December last year in a commercial starring Kenjiro Tsuda as Tatsu and Maaya Sakamoto as Miku, check it out below:
Furthermore, Gokushufudou by Kousuke Oono has been published by Shinchosha in Brunch Comics ( printed ) and Kurage Bunchi ( digital ) since February 2018, with 5 volumes to date. In 2018, Gokushufudou ranked first in the Overall and Comedy categories on Pixiv's Comic Ranking and ranked second in the “Nationwide Bookstore Employees' Recommended Comics of 2018 ” .
