The official website for the Light Novel adaptation by author Yuyuko Takemiya titled Golden Time had its first promotional video released. The protagonist Banri Tada (voiced by Makoto Furukawa) narrates the entire video. The production is carried out by studio GENCO and JCSTAFF (Chiaki Kon (Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist, When They Cry – Higurashi) and directed by Fumihiko Shimo (Fate/stay night).
