Kadokawa announced this Tuesday (24), the anime adaptation of the manga Gorilla no Kami Kara Kago Sareta Reijō wa Ōritsu Kishidan de Kawaiigareru ( The Lady Blessed by the Gorilla God Is Adored by the Royal Knights).
Therefore, this anime will only premiere in 2025.
Synopsis:
The fantasy, described as a “gorilla romantic comedy like you've never seen before,” is set in a world where, upon turning 16, people can receive the blessing of different animal gods. However, the story follows the journey of Sofia Reeler, a shy countess who, by chance, is blessed by the Gorilla God – known as the most powerful god in combat.
Gorilla no Kami is a Japanese web novel series written by Shirohi. The work was published online between August 2020 and 2021 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website, a user-generated novel publishing platform. To date, the series does not yet have a printed version. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Mika Kamisu , began publishing online on Kadokawa's ComicWalker website in August 2021. Since then, the manga has been compiled into five tankōbon volumes.
