Kadokawa revealed this Friday (20) that the manga Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou ( The Daily Life of a Torture Part-Timer ) will get its anime adaptation in 2026.

However, the announcement revealed a trailer and visual with a premiere scheduled for January 2026.

Synopsis:

This is a world where murder and torture have been legalized. Among the various companies hired for torture, there is one of the most respected in the industry, which only accepts targets considered villains — a true "good" company in this dark field: "Spiritus Corporation"

That's where four young part-time employees work. The helpful and good-natured veteran is Ace Cero , who can do everything and gets along with everyone.
There's also Shiu , a living legend in the world of torture, admired by all.

Among the promising newcomers are: Mike , a cute, cheerful, and hardworking girl, and Hugh , a serious and kind-hearted college student. They perform their duties with ease and harmony in this welcoming work environment. Besides them, there's also a scavenger, a cleaner… and even an assassin(!?) Several eccentric and reliable specialists appear with great enthusiasm!

The day-to-day life alongside these unique colleagues is, surprisingly, quite comfortable —
A slightly dark workplace comedy is on the air!

Finally, the manga was launched on Hakusensha's Young Animal Web service in December 2022. Hakusensha published the fifth volume on December 26 and will publish the sixth volume on June 27, 2025.
