Created by Kenji Inoue (script) and Kimitake Yoshioka (art), the manga Grand Blue Dreaming has been published since 2014 in Good! Afternoon , and has already reached 24 volumes. The work also has a digital version in English published by Kodansha USA.

In 2018, Studio Zero-G produced the first anime adaptation, which aired between July and September. Additionally, the franchise received a live-action film released in August 2020, further expanding its popularity.

Season 3: New horizons for Iori and company

The anime follows Iori Kitahara , who moves to a seaside town and starts helping out at his uncle's diving shop. Meanwhile, he navigates university life with parties fueled by alcohol, unexpected friendships, and many absurd situations that make fans laugh.

In the new season, the characters will experience adventures outside of Japan, promising to expand on the comedy and insane atmosphere that made the series so successful.

Finally, Studio Liber returns alongside Zero-G for production, once again with Shinji Takamatsu directing, writing, and handling sound design, maintaining the essence that won over audiences.
