The official website for the anime Grisaia no Kajitsu (Le Fruit de la Grisaia) has released the first trailer for the animation. The series is based on an adult-themed PC game. It premieres on October 5th on Tokyo MX.
Tensho (Kin-iro Mosaic) is directing Grisaia no Kajitsu at the animation studio 8-Bit (Infinite Stratos) with character designs and animation direction by Akio Watanabe (Monogatari Series Second Season, The World God Only Knows). Elements Garden is composing the music for the series' soundtrack.
The opening theme will be performed by Maon Kurosaki from the band fripside (Toaru Majutsu no Index II), and vocalist Yoshino Nanjou (Love Live! School idol project) will perform the ending theme.
The story of Grisaia no Kajitsu takes place at Mihama Academy, where five seemingly normal girls attend the school for a "specific reason." A sixth student transfers to the school. Yuuji Kazami, who has a somewhat obscure personality, doesn't stand out compared to the five girls, who are different from the norm. As they get to know each other, they deepen their understanding of one another. Through slow progress, each of their hearts is affected. When Yuuji arrives, the story of each of the girls, who are trapped by their past, begins to change.
