Koichiro Hoshino launched the manga in Akita Shoten's monthly 'Shōnen Champion' magazine in August 2021.
The manga is based on the smartphone game 'Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine', and is an all-new story centered around a rookie high school baseball player named 'Asu Suzumura'.
In the game, players assemble team members (there are over 50 characters in the game) and experience their stories. Players also train members to improve their skills and take them to games to compete.
The work inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in Japan in July 2019.
