However, all users trying to access the site are currently faced with a maintenance notice. The site recently went into maintenance due to a hacker attack, which put your favorite anime at the top.

On Wednesday (10th), MyAnimeList was actually hacked and the site is still undergoing maintenance to solve the problem. Before the site went into maintenance, some users noticed the cause of the alarm. As the print shows, the hacker changed the name of the anime to “ LET'S ALL LOVE LAIN ”, which means “Let's all love Lain”.
This message directly refers to Lain Iwakura , the protagonist of the anime/manga Serial Experiments Lain . Additionally, site visitors noticed that this anime's ratings were changed with higher points. In other words, the hacker practically changed MyAnimeList to favor Serial Experiments Lain, which seems to be his favorite anime.
