Haikyuu premiered on April 6, 2014, and follows young Shōyō Hinata, who suffers a heavy defeat against his eternal rival Tobio Kageyama. Hinata now joins the Kurasuno High School volleyball team seeking revenge, but Kageyama also joins the team, and the two end up forming a legendary duo.
