Haikyuu premiered on April 6, 2014. The story follows young Shōyō Hinata, who suffers a crushing defeat against his eternal rival Tobio Kageyama. Hinata joins the Karasuno High School volleyball team seeking revenge; however, Kageyama is also on the team, and the two end up forming a legendary duo.
