Shonen Jump magazine has released the first promotional image for the second season of the Haikyuu!! . It premieres in October of this year.
Haikyuu!! is a shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. Individual chapters have been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2012, with collected volumes published by Shueisha. The series was initially published as a one-shot in Shueisha's seasonal Jump NEXT! magazine before serialization.
The first season of the anime was produced by Production IG and premiered on April 6, 2014 on MBS, and also on the JNN channel.
