The victory belongs to otakus around the world, at least in 2021. According to Netflix 's anime Kohei Obara , he revealed to Variety that “ more than half ” of Netflix's global audience watched “ anime content on the platform ” in 2021.

Netflix has revealed forty anime titles slated to premiere on the service in 2022, including new series and fan favorites. Among the titles revealed at the AnimeJapan 2022 is Thermae Romae . Other notable titles include Kotarou wa Hitorigurashi ( Kotaro Goes Live Alone ) and Rilakkuma to Yuuenchi ( Rilakkuma's Theme Park Adventure ).
Finally, films like Bubble and Ame wo Tsugeru Hyyouryuu Danchi ( Drifting Home ) from Studio Color will soon arrive on the platform.
