Due to a live-streamed broadcast made by the Niconico channel, a trailer for the anime Hamatora the animation was revealed. The project is a collaboration between chief director Seiji Kishi (Danganronpa, Persona 4 The Animation, Angel Beats!), and writer Yukinori Kitajima. The character designer is Yuki Kodama (Blood Lad).

Synopsis: In the year 2014 (Yokohama) and “Hamatora” is a detective agency formed by Nice and Murasaki but their “office” is the table at Café Nowhere where they and their friends wait for customers. An old acquaintance of theirs, police officer Art, hires them for a serial murder case that he is investigating, ending up discovering that all the victims are “Minimum Holders”. As Nice and Murasaki are “Minimum Holders” whether they want to or not they are dragged into this case.
