The live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling, produced by Netflix, has gained another big name. According to the South Korean portal Sports Kyunghyang, actress Han So-hee has been cast in the main cast and is expected to play Cha Hae-in, the only S-rank hunter in Korea. She will star alongside Byun Woo-seok, already confirmed as the protagonist Sung Jinwoo.
Han So-hee joins the Solo Leveling universe

Known for her roles in My Name and Gyeongseong Creature, Han So-hee has already shown talent in action productions, making her a natural choice for Cha Hae-in, one of the webtoon's most beloved characters. Although the production hasn't officially confirmed the role, Korean media outlets strongly suggest this casting.

Meanwhile, Byun Woo-seok, who gained popularity with the drama Lovely Runner, will take on the challenge of playing Jinwoo, the weakest hunter in humanity who, after a near-death experience, awakens the power to evolve limitlessly and becomes the strongest of all.
What can we expect from the live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling?
The series was directed by Lee Hae-jun and Kim Byung-seo, known for films such as Ashfall and Castaway on the Moon. It is produced by Kakao Entertainment in partnership with SANAI Pictures.
Created by Chugong, Solo Leveling began as a web novel in 2016 on KakaoPage. In 2018, it was adapted into a webtoon by the studio REDICE, with art by Jang Sung-rak (DUBU), who passed away in 2022. The title became one of the most popular manhwas in the world, also gaining fans with the anime produced by the studio A-1 Pictures.
Finally, there is still no official confirmation from Netflix regarding Han So-hee as Cha Hae-in, but the anticipation among fans is already enormous.
