The official website for Nanaki Nanao 's Helck revealed the full cast and staff on Friday, along with a July premiere date, and a teaser video and promotional art.

Nanaki Nanao is therefore credited for the original work, while Sho Kobayashi is credited for his collaboration on the original work. Tatsuo Sato (Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne, Martian Successor Nadesico) is directing the anime at Satelight. Toshizo Nemoto and Mitsutaka Hirota are in charge of the scenario, while Yoshinori Deno is designing the characters for animation. Finally, Yoshihisa Hirano is composing the music.

Synopsis
The Demon King has been defeated, and now the Demon World is holding a contest to choose his successor. A muscular, high-level human named Helck has competed for the position and claims he wants to destroy his own race! Red Vamirio, one of the four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Empire, is stunned by Helck's claim and requests to personally supervise the human so she can investigate his strange decision. Will she be able to uncover the secrets behind this strange figure's plans?
