The manga launched in Shueisha's Ribon magazine in June 2020. The publisher released the first compiled volume of the manga in October 2020.

Sakai finished the manga Gunjō Reflection (Ultramarine Reflection) in September 2019. Sakai launched the manga in Ribon in October 2017.

Sakai's manga Sugar Soldier inspired an anime that aired on the children's television program Oha-Suta ("Good Morning Star") in 2014. The manga was published in Ribon from 2011 to 2015, and Shueisha published 10 volumes of the manga.
