The production team behind the poker-themed anime High Cardrevealed a second promotional video and more cast members on Monday for the anime's second season.

The new cast of the anime includes:
- Kaori Nazuka as Gao Wan
- Kensho Ono as Sonic Move
The new season premieres on January 8th.
The first season was directed by Junichi Wada, with scripts by Kenichi Yamashita, Kazuhiko Inukai, and Shingo Nagai , and character designs by Nozomi Kono.
Synopsis
The story features young people whose job is to collect "expulsion cards" that grant them different skills.
Finally, the original story for High Card is written by Homura Kawamoto, of 'Kakegurui' fame, Hikaru Muno, who is working on the novelization of 'Kakegurui', and by TMS Entertainment, which produced the anime series 'Lupin the Third' and 'Detective Conan'.
