My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

You'll want to call this a beautiful return. It's been over five years since High School DxD hit TV, but that's about to change. A harem sequel has been announced, and it will follow a descendant of Miyamoto Musashi .

According to the latest information, this anime will first take the form of a light novel. The book is scheduled to hit shelves in Japan later this year, but a release date has not yet been decided.

As for the story, Junior High School DxD will take place after the events of the original anime. We will join an as-yet-unnamed descendant of Miyamoto Musashi , whose life is turned upside down after inheriting a magical sword. The blade has an unusual power that can make its wielder more powerful by manipulating the size of someone's chest.

Ultimately, the harem series is quite notorious for its busty she-devils and an incredible amount of fan service. Created in September 2008, High School DxD came to life in Dragon magazine under creators Ichiei Ishibumi and Miyama-Zero. The story found global fame when TNK adapted it into an anime that is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

Synopsis of High School DxD:

“A war between heaven and hell is raging on Earth—and a mess of hormonal fury is happening in Issei’s pants. The guy is dying to get into some action. Which is funny, since his first date turns into a winged monster trying to kill him. But luckily, the ridiculously curvy redhead Rias comes to his rescue. She’s the president of the Occult Research Club, a club that doesn’t actually research the occult. THEY ARE the occult—and Rias is a Devil.”
