Popular animator Maplestar has announced his new work, the animation based on the anime franchise High School DxD , fulfilling the promised schedule for 2025.
Maplestar recently teased fans that their animation would arrive before the official fifth season of the anime , which sparked reactions from their followers. At just under 7 minutes long, the animation is surprisingly fluid.
Maplestar commented on the animation of High School DxD:
Rias arrived a little late for Christmas and a little early for Valentine's Day—but Issei will be right on time! 😉 This project took a long time to complete! As I mentioned in the previous post, there are some special details about it:
First, since I started a long time ago, there are things I would do differently if I were starting today. Still, I dedicated myself completely to delivering the best possible result. The main focus was making it feel authentic to Highschool DxD , and I still have ideas I want to explore with these characters.
I feel like I now have a better understanding of what works for both you and me in each new project. I'm very proud of this work, but I want to make it clear that I have plans for a sequel, should the audience show interest. Your feedback is super welcome! I just ask that you take all of this into consideration.
If we decide to make another DxD, it will be developed alongside the others, as always. Thank you all so much!
