My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Hiro Mashima, Fairy Tail manga, posted an image on his Twitter account officially announcing his return to the project. With only one volume left to conclude the saga, the author recently revealed in an interview that he will be creating a new project (Stay tuned, everyone!).

Mashima commented on Twitter that the story doesn't seem to want to end with the manga's conclusion:

Even if the original manga ends, I don't think Fairy Tail is finished. I have a lot of plans, so stay tuned!

Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry is coming to Cinépolis cinemas!

The anime Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry premiered in Japanese theaters on May 6th, and the 61st volume of the Fairy Tail manga was released on May 17th in Japan.

The manga series is written by mangaka (Japanese: cartoonist or comic book artist) Hiro Mashima, who had two animated series produced by the beloved studio A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Blue Exorcist), Dentsu Inc., and Satelight. The anime began airing in Japan on October 12, 2009, still under the A-1 Pictures studio. The series spawned seven OVAs and two anime films, the first called Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess. The series ended its run on March 30, 2013. A second series premiered on TV Tokyo on April 5, 2014, and ended on March 26, 2016.
