Kadokawa has released the first trailer for the anime of Hitsugi no Chaika (The Coffin Princess), a light novel by author Sakaki Ichirou (Scrapped Princess, Outbreak Company) with illustrations by Ookuma Nekosuke. The video features the opening theme song "Darakena" sung by Iori Nomizu.
In the story, Toru Acura is a lazy man with some hidden talents, who was forced by his sister Akari to leave home and look for work.
The anime series will premiere on April 9th on Tokyo MX, Studio Bones will be in charge of the animation, and Soichi Masui (Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu) will direct.
