Daisuke Hagiwara and HERO 's manga Horimiya will receive an anime adaptation in January 2021.
Square Enix 's Monthly G Fantasy magazine didn't reveal any further information beyond the cover story, but a visual from the anime has leaked online:

Synopsis
Hori is a normal high school girl, but she's a completely different person outside of school. In her parents' absence, she takes care of her younger brother. Miyamura, a classmate of hers, is a normal, four-eyed, and somewhat strange boy, but outside of school he also has a secret. When the two unexpectedly meet, they discover each other's secrets and begin to develop an unexpected friendship. What situations await them now that they know each other's secrets?!

Masashi Ishihama ( Persona 5: The Animation ) will direct the anime at CloverWorks . Takao Yoshioka ( Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso ) will write the script and compose the music. Haruko Iizuka will do the character design, while Masaru Yokoyama ( Shigatsu ) will compose the soundtrack.
Horimiya (a 4-koma web manga from 2007-2011) already received an anime adaptation in 2012 by the studio Gonzo and Hoods Entertainment , with 4 OVAs of 23 minutes each.
The HERO manga "remake," illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara, has been published in Square Enix 's Monthly G Fantasy since 2011, and currently has 14 volumes.
