Horimiya – Check out the correct and confusing order to watch the anime

Horimiya became one of the most famous romance anime in recent years, but its adaptation did not follow the manga in chronological order. Although its new anime called Horimiya: The Missing Pieces has filled in the empty gaps, those who haven't read the manga may have difficulty digesting the episodic order of events. Kudasai website created a list to understand the correct order to follow the story in the anime.

Horimiya – Check out the correct and confusing order to watch the anime

In 2021, produced by CloverWorks , Horimiya received its first anime, which adapts the manga illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara and supervised by ( Hiroki Adachi ) HERO , the creator of the work. The anime had 12 episodes and accumulated a large legion of fans, but it did not adapt the complete story of the manga. Therefore, this year, CloverWorks released Horimiya: The Missing Pieces to adapt the missing parts.

However, the anime does not follow the events of the manga in chronological order as it was divided in such a way. This list presents exactly the order we must follow to understand the anime in the correct order.

Synopsis:

Kyouko Hori is a super outgoing and popular high school girl in her class, but she is a completely different person outside of school. While her parents are not at home, she takes care of her younger brother and takes on the role of housewife. On the other hand, her classmate Izumi Miyamura is an introverted boy who also leads a double life. While he is away from school, Miyamura walks around with a more flashy style and leaves his tattoos on display. When the two meet unexpectedly, they begin to develop an unexpected friendship. As they grow closer, this friendship begins to bear the fruits of a strong and genuine passion.
