Developers Guerrilla Games and Nixxies Software have released the system requirements to run Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered on PC, scheduled for release on October 31st. The new version of the game, which was already a hit on PlayStation, promises a robust visual upgrade, similar to Horizon Forbidden West , and will be available for both PC and PlayStation 5.

The remaster raises the graphics to current industry standards, and the minimum and recommended requirements reveal that the game should run smoothly on mid-range computers. For 1440p and 60fps, an RTX 3070 graphics card is suggested, while for 1080p, an RTX 3060 is sufficient. The required storage is 135 GB and the required memory is 16 GB, even in the most basic configurations.

Minimum requirements for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered on PC

For those who want to run the game with minimal graphics settings and acceptable performance, the Very Low requires an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X processor, as well as a GTX 1650 graphics card. The game will run at 720p and 30fps, but will still maintain the essential aspects of the experience, with reduced graphics and lower hardware consumption.

Players with more modest PC configurations will need at least 135 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. It's important to remember that the game has been optimized for Windows 10 (version 1909 or higher), which also applies to those using the recommended configurations.

Recommended settings for a 1080p experience

For gamers who want to enjoy Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered in 1080p at 60fps, mid-range settings are sufficient. The game recommends a combination of a Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i5-8600 processor with an RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 5700 graphics card. These settings already guarantee a very rich visual experience, maintaining the fluidity that many gamers seek for Full HD monitors.

This option aims to reach a wider audience, since monitors with this resolution are still widely used in Brazil. The improved graphics quality makes the game even more immersive, without requiring very advanced hardware configurations.

4K graphics and high performance

Those who wish to play at higher resolutions, such as 1440p or 4K, will need a more robust configuration. To run the game at 1440p at 60fps or at 4K at 30fps, an RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 graphics card is recommended. In addition, an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor is required.

For the ultimate experience, with graphics set to Very High , the game will demand even more from the hardware. An RTX 4080 graphics card and an Intel Core i7-11700 processor, delivering 4K resolution at 60fps. This configuration is aimed at gamers seeking maximum performance and graphics quality, taking full advantage of the remaster's potential.
