A new trailer and poster showcasing the visuals for the Houkago Saikoro Club anime have been revealed on the anime 's official website . It premieres on October 2nd as part of this year's Fall anime season.
The anime follows the story of three girls who form a board game club and play board games every day after school. It is animated by Liden Films and directed by Kenichi Imaiumi. Atsushi Maekawa wrote the script, Yukiko Ibe designed the characters, and Shuji Katayama of Team Max composed the music.
