A new trailer and poster showcasing the visuals for the Houkago Saikoro Club anime have been revealed on the anime 's official website . It premieres on October 2nd as part of this year's Fall anime season.
The anime follows the story of three girls who form a board game club and play board games every day after school. It is animated by Liden Films and directed by Kenichi Imaiumi . Atsushi Maekawa wrote the script, Yukiko Ibe designed the characters, and Shuji Katayama of Team Max composed the music.
