Houkago Teibou Nisshi – Manga on hiatus due to heavy rains

Synopsis

The series centers on Hina Tsurugi, a first-year student who moves to a seaside town. Tsurugi is a girl with a childish personality, and she is suddenly thrust into the world of fishing when an older student, Yuuki Kuroiwa, invites her to join the school's fishing club.

manga hiatus of Houkago Teibou Nisshi will therefore come into effect from issue 8 of the magazine Young Champion Retsu .

The magazine's official Twitter also posted a message of support for the victims of the heavy rains and floods in southern Kyushu. Additionally, a message of support was left focusing on Ashikita , Kumamoto , and Kyushu , which are the real-world cities where the story is set.

Southern Kyushu is experiencing persistent heavy rains, leading to widespread flooding and landslides. The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued an emergency warning due to heavy rains in parts of Fukuoka, Saga, and Nagasaki prefectures. Evacuation orders are now in effect for parts of Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, and Oita. Kumamoto authorities reported Monday that 44 people were confirmed dead, one was without vital signs, and 10 were missing.
