The official website for the anime adaptation of Shungiku Nakamura Hybrid Child boys-love has released its first trailer!
The video features music by composer Hijiri Anze ( Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi , Utawarerumono ). The premiere is scheduled for October of this year.
The animation is being handled by Studio Deen, directed by Michio Fukuda (responsible for Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital, Hyakko), with a script by Aki Itami (Mushi-Shi, The Comic Artist and His Assistants) and character designs by Takahiro Kishida (Madoka Magica, Haikyu!!).
Seiji Biblos originally serialized the manga in the magazine Be x Boy Gold from 2003 to 2004 , and Kadokawa Shoten later published the manga in one volume in 2008. Digital Manga Publishing released the manga in North America . The manga already inspired a CD drama adaptation different cast than this anime .
