The official website for the anime adaptation of Shungiku Nakamura 's Hybrid Child boys-love has released its first trailer!
The video features music by composer Hijiri Anze (Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi, Utawarerumono). The premiere is scheduled for October of this year.
The animation is being handled by Studio Deen, directed by Michio Fukuda (responsible for Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital, Hyakko), with a script by Aki Itami (Mushi-Shi, The Comic Artist and His Assistants) and character designs by Takahiro Kishida (Madoka Magica, Haikyu!!).
Seiji Biblos originally serialized the manga in the magazine Be x Boy Gold from 2003 to 2004 , and Kadokawa Shoten later published the manga in one volume in 2008. Digital Manga Publishing released the manga in North America . The manga has already inspired a CD drama adaptation with a different cast than this anime .
