In celebration of the anniversary of the game The IDOLM@STER Million Live!, an anime adaptation based on the game has been revealed. According to reports, the series will be inspired by the smartphone game.

Shinya Watada (Gundam Build Divers Re: RISE) will direct the anime at Shirogumi Inc. studio, and Yoichi Kato (Aikatsu!) is supervising the series scripts.
Bandai Games released the game in 2013 as a spinoff of the main The IDOLM@STER game series, allowing players to manage their own company in idol production.
Finally, Bandai Namco Entertainment released a successor to the game titled The IDOLM@STER Million Live! for iOS and Android in June 2017.
