It was revealed through the official website of the Ikki Tousen anime that the first promotional video for the new OVA, titled Ikki Tousen : Extravaganza Epoch . The video features the song "Endless Fighter" by singer Yui Sakakibara. The OVA was screened at the Comic Market 86 event, which took place last weekend in Japan.
Therefore, the cast of this new animation "may be announced in the next issue" of Wani Books Gum Comic magazine.
The latest releases in the franchise were Xtreme Xecutor and Shugaku Toshi Keppu-roku, which debuted in 2010 and 2011, respectively; Funimation licensed both.
Known in Japan simply as Ikkitōsen (一騎当千, Ikkitōsen?), it is a manga/anime series by Yuji Shiozaki, based on the classic Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Finally, the series is known for its copious amounts of fan service involving young girls fighting in skimpy outfits and short skirts, as well as other ecchi-style situations, where the female warriors possess jewels called Magatama as earrings worn by all Toushi, which contain the spirits and essence of warriors from the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China.
