I'm Standing on a Million Lives – Novel Adaptation Published

Kodansha light novel adaptation based on the manga I'm Standing on a Million Lives (100-Man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru). Nao illustrated the novel and is credited for the original manga, while Yamakawa is credited for the original work. Writer Sawako Hirabayashi , who wrote the script for the anime's ninth episode, also wrote the novel script.

The novel presents us with an original story that takes place after Glenda joins the group as the sixth player, and describes a mission in which the group must defend the village of Zagros from annihilation.

Synopsis

Yusuke Yotsuya, a distant and rational elementary school student, is transported to a parallel world similar to a video game. Alongside his classmates Iu Shindo and Kusue Hakozaki, he is forced to undertake a dangerous mission. Yusuke is cold and calculating, examining each situation without giving in to his emotions, often gambling with the lives of his companions. Will he be able to protect his group from the monsters, traps, and schemes that threaten them, and ultimately win the game?

Yamakawa and Nao then launched the I'm Standing on a Million Lives manga in Kodansha 's Bessatsu Shounen in June 2016.
