Level-5 surprised fans by officially announcing Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin , the newest game in the iconic Inazuma Eleven . The reveal took place during the "Level-5 Vision 2016 – New Heroes-" event held last Wednesday. Additionally, the company also presented a moving pilot film, animated by studio OLM, accompanied by the upbeat theme song "Teppen e Dash," performed by the band pugcat's.

In the story, protagonist Asuto Inamori's soccer club is disbanded after the school's soccer field is destroyed. He and his friends travel to Tokyo to play soccer at Daimon-chuu (Daimon Junior High). The story takes place after the first Inazuma Eleven, but takes place in a parallel world to all other Inazuma Eleven games beyond the first, as the story took a different direction.

Strong cast and new technologies

The voice cast has also been announced, featuring big names in the industry. Hiroshi Kamiya as Ryohei Haizaki, Ayumu Murase voices Asuto Inamori, and Jun Fukuyama plays Yuma Nosaka. Similar to the original anime, the production promises to thrill fans with new characters and never-before-seen challenges.

Additionally, it was announced that the anime will premiere in summer 2017 , with plans for streaming. The series will also feature an online-exclusive spin-off, called " Locker Room ," featuring behind-the-scenes footage and interesting facts about the production, which is sure to please hardcore fans.

But the news doesn't stop there! Level-5 has unveiled an interactive device called "Onze Band ," developed in partnership with Takara Tomy. This wearable device allows players to accumulate points through exercise, thus increasing their characters' stats in the game – a proposal that creatively connects the virtual world with the real world.

Inazuma Eleven franchise was born in 2008 on the Nintendo DS and, to date, has sold an impressive 8,077,800 copies worldwide, reaffirming its undeniable success among game and anime fans.
