The official website for the anime Iwa-Kakeru! -Sport Climbing Girls- (literal translation: Sports Climbing Girls) released a promotional teaser this Friday. Check out the cast members, staff, and October premiere date.

Tetsuro Amino is directing the anime at BLAME, and Touko Machida is in charge of the script. Yoshihiro Watanabe of Frontier One is doing the character design while Tsubasa Ito is composing the music.
Tomohiro Matsukawa is listed as assistant director and Motohiro Taniguchi as secondary character designer. Yoshihiro Watanabe, Taniguchi, and Kenji Terao are the animation directors. Sakukaro Mitsuhashi is the prop designer while Yoshi Wakayama is credited with the design work.
Finally, Maho Takahashi is the art designer and Tomoyasu Hosoi is the art director. Yukiko Ario is the key color artist. Yuko Kamahara (TDF) is directing the photographic composition while Kazuhiro Nii is editing. Takatoshi Hamano is directing the sound. Wit Studio and Studio Massket are collaborating on the production.
Synopsis Iwa-Kakeru!
First-year high school student Konomi Kasahara discovered rock climbing at Hanamiya Girls' School after honing her mind with puzzles in elementary school. But her life changed when she found her new school's climbing wall, leading her to join the climbing team.
Furthermore, Ishizaka launched the first manga on the Cycomi website in December 2017, while Shogakukan released the first volume of the second manga digitally in February 2020. Above all, the Tokyo Olympics will be the first to have climbing as an official event.
