The classic and nostalgic Jackie Chan series (The Adventures of Jackie Chan) is coming back, this time with a revamped concept. It has been announced that in 2016 Jackie Chan will get a new animated series, titled The Adventures of La & Zy , produced by Dasym Media .
The animated series will be aimed at children aged 6 to 12 and will consist of 104 episodes, each 11 minutes long. Randy Rogel (The 7D, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain) is working on the script, alongside executive producers Steve Waterman (Alvin and the Chipmunks, Stuart Little), Charlie Coker, Bruce Stein, Esmond Ren, and Chan himself.
The animated series will narrate the adventures of Chan, a teenager who is training to learn martial arts, and will also feature two new characters, La and Zy , two pandas who will experience new and fun adventures with the martial artist.
