Synopsis

A recluse is reborn in another world with the promise of a peaceful life. Although born into royalty, at first glance his magic appears weak, prompting his parents to abandon him thoughtlessly in a forest to be devoured by monsters. However, his magic is actually inhumanly strong. Exactly what will he have to do to achieve the peaceful life he so desires?

Kodansha has yet to reveal information about staff, the animation studio, or more precise dates. Although the anime is an isekai story, which is currently worn out, author Sumimori Sai already had another TV adaptation of his works in 2012 with Mahoutsukai Nara Miso wo Kue! , so we can at least expect more experienced backing from him.

Sai Sumimori began serializing Jitsu wa Ore on the Shosetsuka ni Naro in September 2018, where it remains in print. Kodansha published the first print volume with illustrations by Ai Takahashi in May 2019, and the fifth print volume in October 2021.

Finally, Takahashi launched a manga adaptation in the Suiyoubi no Sirius section of Kodansha's Nico Nico Seiga website in April 2019. Kodansha Comics published the sixth volume digitally on April 19. Sai Sumimori has published many novels, and one of the most notable is Saikyou Yuusha wa Oharaibako→Maou ni Nattara Zutto Ore no Musou Turn (From Betrayed Hero to Invincible Demon King), about a hero who is rejected for being ugly.
