The anime Joran: The Princess of Snow and Blood , an original Bushiroad , revealed its cast, staff, synopsis, and April 6 premiere date in its first trailer.
Furthermore, the trailer highlights the opening song “Exist” by the all-female band RAISE A SUILEN, who also perform the closing song “Embrace of Light”.
Synopsis
The time is the 64th year of the Meiji era.
The stage is another Japan where Tokugawa Yoshinobu continues to hold absolute power. The nation has developed its own energy source, the "dragon vein," and achieved a unique development in which science and the Edo period blend. However, behind such a beautiful city, the dissident organization Kuchinawa, burning with the flames of revolution and aiming to overthrow the government, moves. "Nue," the shadowy organization of the Tokugawa government, was tasked with extermination. Sakiha Yukimura, whose family was killed when she was young, became "Nue's" enforcer and continued to seek its snake eyes.

Susumu Kudo is directing the anime at Bakken Record, while Rika Nezu is supervising the anime's scripts and writing them with Kunihiro Okada. Kano Komiyama is doing the character designs, and Jun Yamaguchi is credited with production design.
Yukari Yasuda is in charge of art direction, and Misako Akama is the key color artist. Masaki Sakamoto is the editor. MICHIRU is composing the music, and Yuichi Imaizumi is directing the sound at Sonilude.
Finally, a manga adaptation of Joran: The Princess of Snow and Blood will be serialized on the BookLive service. Additionally, a stage play adaptation will be performed at the Meijiza Theatre this fall.
