anime adaptation in film format of the Novel Josee, the Tiger and the Fish was announced this Monday (02). Based on the work of Seiko Tanabe, the anime will be produced by the studio BONES and will premiere during the year 2020, with no confirmed date yet.
In addition to being produced by BONES, the anime will also be directed by Kotaro Tamura and designed by Haruko Iizuka and Nao Emoto. Sakuya Kuwamura is writing the script, while Ioundraw (from FLAT STUDIO) and Evan Call are responsible for the conceptual design and music, respectively.
