anime adaptation in film format of the Novel Josee, the Tiger and the Fish was announced this Monday (02). Based on the work of Seiko Tanabe, the anime will be produced by studio BONES and will premiere during 2020, with no confirmed date yet.
In addition to being produced by studio BONES, the anime will also be directed by Kotaro Tamura and character designs by Haruko Iizuka and Nao Emoto. Sakuya Kuwamura handles the film's script, while Ioundraw (from FLAT STUDIO) and Evan Call handle, respectively, the conceptual design and music for the work.
