An anime film adaptation of the novel Josee, the Tiger and the Fish was announced this Monday (02). Based on the work of Seiko Tanabe, the anime will be produced by studio BONES and will premiere during the year 2020, with no confirmed date yet.
In addition to production by Studio BONES, the anime will also feature direction by Kotaro Tamura and character designs by Haruko Iizuka and Nao Emoto. Sakuya Kuwamura is in charge of the film's script, while Ioundraw (of FLAT STUDIO) and Evan Call are responsible for the conceptual design and music of the work, respectively.
