The first information about chapter 268 of Jujutsu Kaisen has surfaced online, revealing one of the most impactful moments in the series' final stretch: the apparent death of Sukuna. Following the powerful Black Flash unleashed by Yuji in the previous chapter, the King of Curses is finally separated from Megumi Fushiguro's body.

Yuji manages to defeat Sukuna in chapter 268.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Death of Sukuna

Yuji's attack proves decisive in chapter 268 of Jujutsu Kaisen. Without a host to sustain its existence, Sukuna begins to lose its physical form and gradually dissolves before the characters. The scene reinforces what had already been suggested throughout recent chapters: its survival depended directly on a compatible receptacle.

Sukuna considers the proposal made by Yuji

However, the chapter presents an unexpected detail. Before disappearing completely, Sukuna seems to consider the proposal made by Yuji earlier. Instead of continuing to exist as a destructive entity, the two could share the same body in a peaceful coexistence, something that seemed impossible until then.

This twist opens up space for new interpretations about the character's true fate. After all, has Sukuna really reached the end, or Gege Akutami left an opening for his return in the final chapters?

However, Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. Furthermore, the series began in Weekly Shōnen Jump on March 5, 2018. Additionally, the individual chapters are collected and published by Shueisha.
