Jujutsu Kaisen – Blu-ray fixes animation errors from season 2

Since the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen aired, some fans criticized the anime due to the quality of its animation. However, the Blu-ray release of the anime showcased a much better quality of the animated scenes that had received criticism.

Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc , which tells the story of Satoru Gojo , some episodes received criticism for not having the same level of animation as the first season of the anime. The episodes in question are 25 to 28, which depict Gojo's battle against Toji Fushiguro .

According to the animators, the scenes were darkened and the colors toned down for broadcast on Japanese television. Although this generated criticism from the public, the treatment was necessary due to a law requiring reduced color and brightness in TV programs to prevent problems such as seizures.

On the other hand, the Blu-ray release, which arrived in Japan this week, showcases the original animation of the episodes in all their beauty. In the image above, we can see a comparison of the animation for TV and home video, and also notice that the original colors and brightness make a big difference.

Synopsis:

Since Yuji Itadori, a high school student, became involved with the secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, he has been training to confront curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. Therefore, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a trainee under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
