— 津田健次郎 KENJIRO TSUDA (@tsuda_ken) October 16, 2023
In the latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, Nanami stole the show by taking control of the fight and making the enemy beg for mercy. After her character garnered so much attention, Tsuda posted a thank-you message on X (Twitter).
However, his post also seems like a farewell message due to Nanami's fate at the end of the Shibuya Incident . Therefore, it seems the voice actor is aware that Nanami will die in this arc. Those who have read the manga should have noticed this detail in the message, knowing what will happen in the future.
Synopsis:
Since Yuji Itadori, a high school student, became involved with the secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, he has been training to confront curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. Therefore, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a trainee under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and had 24 episodes animated by studio MAPPA . Later, the studio also handled the animation for the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 , which takes place a few years before the main series and tells the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
