Following the events of the Slaughter Game , Jujutsu Kaisen entered its final arc, ushering in one of the most anticipated battles among fans. Although the manga is in its final stages, Gege Akutami and his editor stated that there is still much to come.
"I don't speak English, only Japanese, and I've never traveled outside of Japan. The fact that my manga was able to cross the ocean and be enjoyed by so many people seems so mysterious to me, but I'm also very grateful. I will do my best to meet the expectations of fans worldwide as I wrap up Jujutsu Kaisen and also work on future manga."
Akutami Editor's Note:
“The manga won't end anytime soon, but it's in its final stages.”
Synopsis:
The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight curses—evil beings that haunt the living world. So, to protect his friends and the innocent, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a student-in-training under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
The anime's first season premiered in October 2020 and consisted of 24 episodes, animated by MAPPA . The studio also produced the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, set a few years before the main series and telling the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
